A Tip from Jim Butcher

I was hopping the web when I found this on someone's blog, quoting Jim Butcher, author of the Harry Dresiden series. It's a simple question to help clarify one's story.

*WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS*, *YOUR PROTAGONIST* *PURSUES A GOAL*. But will he succeed when *ANTAGONIST PROVIDES OPPOSITION*?

That's an outline I can live with.

I love hearing from other people who read these posts. However, I reserve the right to refuse any posts that I feel are indecent. Also, I have recently begun recieving comments from people who seem to be from commerical sites. I will delate any comments that lead to commerical sites.
